I'm actually beginning to quite anticipate seeing the remake of "The Hills Have Eyes". I just rented the original (double disc goodies from Anchor Bay) and will be hopefully writing up a review of both of them (If I see the remake) that'll head your way very soon.

Cigarette Burns

John Carpenter's “Cigarette Burns”Get comfy in-front of Bravo tonight at 11PM as it's finally John Carpenter's turn to tell a tale in Masters of Horror. The plot of his story, Cigarette Burns, involves Jimmy Sweetman, a finder of rare films who happens to be desperately in need of cash. A sinister and wealthy collector sends Jimmy off in search of the legendary “Le Fin Absolut du Monde” aka the Absolute End of the World. The film is allegedly so disturbing that at its one and only screening the crowd went mad and killed each other. As the trail to the film gets warmer, Jimmy starts to have disturbing visions of his dead ex-girlfriend who committed suicide. He begins to realise that the film is getting to him even though he hasn't even seen it.

To find out more head over to John Carpenter's Official Site which has had a nice Flash makeover since I last visited it.
